A DYING LANDThe Shima Imperium verges on the brink of environmental collapse; an island nation once rich in tradition and myth, now decimated by clockwork industrialization and the machine-worshipers of the Lotus Guild. The skies are red as blood, the land is choked with toxic pollution, and the great spirit animals that once roamed its wilds have departed forever.
AN IMPOSSIBLE QUEST
The hunters of Shima's imperial court are charged by their Shōgun to capture a thunder tiger – a legendary creature, half-eagle, half-tiger. But any fool knows the beasts have been extinct for more than a century, and the price of failing the Shōgun is death.

A HIDDEN GIFT
Yukiko is a child of the Fox clan, possessed of a talent that if discovered, would see her executed by the Lotus Guild. Accompanying her father on the Shōgun’s hunt, she finds herself stranded: a young woman alone in Shima’s last wilderness, with only a furious, crippled thunder tiger for company. Even though she can hear his thoughts, even though she saved his life, all she knows for certain is he’d rather see her dead than help her.

But together, the pair will form an indomitable friendship, and rise to challenge the might of an empire.
My Thoughts:
This cover kinda reminds me of Mulan, which is my favourite Disney Princess movie.I am a total sucker when it comes to steampunks and Japanese stuff, whether it's sushi,anime,manga...you name it!And I'm practically drooling to get my hands on this book!Okay, okay,I'll admit it.The real reason I'm doing this cover reveal is so that I can get my hands on the last ARC.If I don't I'm probably gonna' go all gangsta and shoot someone.Sadly,I don't own any REAL guns or have any connections with a mafia godfather,so don't worry, you guys are safe.If I shoot someone,it'd probably be with my brother's Nerf gun, which has bullets made up of foam,so I doubt that it'd hurt much. But honestly, how can I resist?Just look at it!It's as if the book's made for me.Oh,and by the way,see that creature flying towards the girl in the cover? It reminds me a lot of a Griffin, though it's called a thunder tiger.Do I like the sound of that!Mr. Kristoff you'd better hand me over that last ARC!It's all mine.I know I'm not good at drawing or writing songs so I'm doing this cover reveal instead. This better work!
*Switching to polite mode*So guys if you wanna find out how you can raid this last ARC I'm gonna' leave you the direct link here, since I'm so generous.: http://misterkristoff.wordpress.com/2012/07/04/raiders-of-the-last-arc/?blogsub=confirming#blog_subscription-4 . Go to this link to see how you can grab it,though that would so not work in my favor.
Grr I'm loving this cover!
