"Waiting On" Wednesday: My Name Is Rapunzel

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by breaking the spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

 My Name is Rapunzel
 by KC Hilton
 Expected Publication: 2013
From Goodreads: Fairy tales are for children. My name is Rapunzel and I will tell you my story. I will tell you the truth.

My Thoughts: The main thing that caught my attention is probably the title and the cover.First of all,I absolutely LOVE fairy-tale re-tellings.And secondly,After Tangled I've definitely got my hopes up for this fairy tale princess.Out of the way Mulan and make way for Rapunzel! You've been in the spotlight for too long!Give Rapunzel some space as well. :)
And it goes without saying that the cover rocks! And the publication date sucks! :( I can't wait to get my hands on this one! XD

So what's your WoW this week?Feel free to let me know.

  1. WoW seems pretty cool. I wonder, though, what's the best source for information on books yet to be published?

  7. LOL. Cover rocks, publication date sucks. I love it! Anyway, the cover is gorgeous. I also enjoy re-tellings of fairy tales especially if the heroines are not the sweet, damsels-in-distress Disney liked to portray them some decades ago...

    Thanks for visiting. ^_^

  12. I am a big fan of fairy tales and this book satisfied my appetite. I love fairy tales remade into modern day. My name is Rapunzel is a very well written story. The characters are so believable and you feel for Rapunzel and her desire to be free. The twist at the end was worth it all!!! I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves fairy tales.
